BQ aims to make your free Pub Trivia or Musical Bingo experience as fun and fair for everyone as possible. As a participant, we ask that you please observe the following rules: 

• Max team size | For quizzes, the maximum team size is 8 people. Any more than 8 brains can start to unfairly sway the competitive edge, so our host will ask your group to split into 2 teams. 

• Cheating | …rigging, tampering (whatever you want to call it!) is strictly prohibited at all events. Our hosts reserve the right to dock points or disqualify teams, depending on the circumstances and brazenness of the conduct. Phones, smart watches and other devices must not be accessed during play, including trips to the bar and/or restrooms. You are welcome to access your devices at the midway break 1 hour into the game. If you need your phone handy in case of emergency or other reason, please speak to your host before the start of the quiz to let them know and we will accommodate you.  

• Prizes | All prizes allocated are at the discretion of the hosting venue. Teams or players attending multiple BQ quizzes in the same week may not be eligible for prizes, but may participate freely in games which depend on skill or chance. 

• Winning streaks | Prize limitations or a points handicap may apply to teams winning consistently each week. This allows others to enjoy the free competition and maintain strong attendance, and therefore continued support of your local venue.

• Challenges | Our quizzes are designed as a form of entertainment, not a true test of intellect. Occasionally, there may be multiple acceptable answers, unintentional errors, or inadvertent faux pas. If you wish to dispute an answer, please take it up with your host politely during the next break. Your host will hear out your query and fact-check as soon as feasible. At all times, the decision made by our host is final. 

• Host respect | Our hosts are handpicked for their engaging personalities and their enthusiasm to entertain you. We work with a fantastic array of hosts ranging in style, experience, age and cultural/social backgrounds. Our hosts aren’t there to be heckled or harassed. Please respect them as they respect your rights as a patron. 

• Bookings | Bookings are highly recommended for all our events. Please contact your preferred venue for all booking enquiries.

• Cancellations | Our team is booked by local venues who wish to put on a great show for their patrons. Occasionally, a scheduled show may not go ahead due to factors outside our control. Where possible, we’ll give advanced notice of any cancellations or rescheduling via our socials accounts.

• Feedback | We welcome all feedback (good and disappointing!) and love hearing suggestions from our punters. Please email us at hello@bamboozledquizmasters.com.au to share your thoughts.
